Highland Ave

When I arrived at the Piedmont home of empty-nesters Ted and Laura, I immediately noticed that they weren’t strangers to the beautiful products of designer furniture, and I knew that I wanted to highlight their sophisticated but fun character. Although, they have impeccable taste, Ted and Laura are completely humble and down to earth people. For this project, my primary goal was to marry my fresh and functional design approach with their cultured and curated aesthetic.

One of my favorite features is a gorgeous custom Grange bookcase that is now a beautiful backdrop to the living room. Upstairs, we turned their recently vacated extra bedroom into a multi-functional office/TV room/guest room; we kept it fun and eclectic so their son still enjoys staying there when he comes home!
