For this project, we redesigned a recent addition to a beautiful creekside family home in Lafayette. My clients entertain a lot, so our #1 priority was to make sure there was adequate space for seating their friends and family. We focused on developing a welcoming space to host guests and enjoy the company around not one but two big coffee tables.
To make the room feel more spacious and inviting, we worked with a white and airy palette. We wanted to keep it light and simple, so we focused on just one bright accent color with the bold yellow settee. We kept all of the other seating neutral, except for two bold patterned stools, which add a pop of fun to the room. For finishing touches, the dark tobacco leather and the Moroccan shag rug bring a layer of warmth to the space.
